Retailer sees double-digit sales lift after launching Reflect’s interactive shopping application on Elo’s 55-inch commercial grade touchscreen.
DALLAS, TX – April 30, 2019 – Reflect, a leading provider of award-winning digital signage software, content and interactive applications, and Elo, a leading global supplier of retail technology solutions, today announced that the companies’ retail implementation project with Polaris was named a 2019 DIGI Award winner for Best Digital Signage Application: Retail.
A key aspect of the Polaris Retail Experience Project is a pairing of Reflect’s digital interactive shopping application with Elo’s 55-inch commercial grade touchscreen in Polaris dealerships across the U.S. The experiential touchscreen enables customers to effortlessly build their off-road vehicles, adding accessories as desired, with a 360-degree view to visualize possibilities not seen on the showroom floor.
“Showcasing a wide range of physical products when you have limited space to do so can be challenging for retailers, which is why digital signage is so crucial in cases like Polaris’ dealerships,” said Lee Summers, CEO, Reflect. “The ‘build your own’ application is a powerful sales tool, one we’re happy to have helped create.”
Because of the success of the application, Polaris has plans to roll out this interactive application to additional dealerships in the US and Canada. The interactive technology is the number one dealer-requested sales tool, and after implementation, Polaris has seen double-digit sales lift in vehicles, as well as in parts and accessories.
“From the moment shoppers interact with the showroom installation, they gain a sense for how simple and enjoyable it will be to become a part of the powersports community, which often begins with their first Polaris purchase,” said Leah Holm, Lead – Retail Experience Program, Polaris. “We are excited for our continued work with both Reflect and Elo to bring shoppers’ dreams of adventure to life.”
“Elo’s interactive displays are designed to inspire, and we’re glad to play a part in Polaris’ investment to optimize its presence in dealer showrooms,” said Craig Witsoe, CEO, Elo. “Consumers want best-in-class experiences when they shop – working with Reflect to bring the possibilities to life has been a fun and rewarding project to make that experience a reality for Polaris’s thrill-seeking customers.”
Sales associates can use the tool to walk guests through the creation of their vehicles, closing more transactions as a result. Shoppers can also explore the app in a self-guided way. The app also has the ability for a shopper to save their vehicle specs to return to later while at home.
In addition to the most recent DIGI Award, The Polaris Retail Experience Project also won a 2018 Elevate Award for Best ICX Deployment, Retail.
