This Privacy Policy describes the type of information Creative Realities, Inc. (“we,” “ours,” “us”) may collect from you or you may provide through visiting and using the website www.CRI.com (the “Site”), as well as our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing such information.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected from this Site, email, text, and other electronic communication between you and CRI through this Site. Please review this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policy and practices regarding your information. Your continued access, use, and interaction with this Site will be deemed consent to this Privacy Policy. What information do we collect and when is it collected?
We collect information from you when you register on our site or fill out a form.
When registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name or e-mail address. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
We use Hotjar and other automated information collection tools to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices (in particular device’s IP address (captured and stored only in anonymized form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), preferred language used to display our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymized user profile. Neither Hotjar nor we will ever use this information to identify individual users or to match it with further data on an individual user. Personally Identifiable Information:
At times, personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address (“Personal Data”), is collected in exchange for our content and/or products or services. We will never force you to give us this information, and such activity is strictly voluntary.
We collect information from you when you register on our Site, fill out a form, or contact us for support or information. This information includes: your name, company name, contact information, including phone number and email address, and other information about your business (locations, markets and verticals you participate in, etc.). Personal Data is collected and retained to communicate directly with you, answer your questions, or respond to your inquiry, as well as maintain records of such communication.
You are not required to input any Personal Data; however, we may collect certain data, as described below, regarding your access and use of our Site.
Marketing Information:
By registering on our Site or otherwise opting-in to email, you agree to receive email or other electronic communications from us, including, but not limited to, newsletters, site updates, promotions, additional resources, and other announcements and correspondence as it relates to the Site and our business. You agree that all electronically sent agreements, notices, and other communications that we provide satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
You may elect to no longer receive any electronic communication, marketing or otherwise, by following the instructions at the bottom of any email or webpage, or by contacting us directly at clientexperience@cri.com. We reserve the right to maintain a database of past email subscribers, to use as reasonably necessary for recordkeeping, compliance, or to honor opt-out requests.
We may also collect information from customer surveys or your response to offers.
Automated Information Collection Technologies:
Through your use of the Site we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect, use, and disclose certain aggregated and de-identified information about your equipment, browsing actions, and usage, including but not limited to, date and time of access, traffic data, location data, data logs, IP addresses, operating systems, browsers, and other communication data and your access and use of the Site. Our servers may automatically record such information that is sent from your browser upon visiting the Site. Aggregated and de-identified data could be derived from your Personal Data, but is not considered Personal Data under applicable law, as this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. However, if we combine or connect aggregated or de-identified data with your Personal Data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as Personal Data, which will be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We may use this automatically collected information to (i) conduct analyses about our Site; (ii) associate the different devices you use; (iii) remember your browser or device; (iv) remember your preferences and interactions; (v) deliver relevant advertisements or other content; (vi) market our services to you; (vii) collect information about our Site and services; and (viii) log activity on our Site. We may use these technologies for providing our Site, services, security, authentication, analytics, product or service improvement, advertising, fraud detection, and for other similar purposes.
In addition to Hotjar, as listed above, some of the tools we use to automatically collect information about you may include:
- (a) Cookies. A “cookie” is a small data file transmitted from a website to your device’s hard drive. Cookies are usually defined in one of two ways, and we may use either (or both) of them: (1) session cookies, which do not stay on your device after you close your browser, and (2) persistent cookies, which remain on your device until you delete them or they expire.
- (b) Analytic Services. Our Site may use Adobe, Bing, Facebook Connect, Google Analytics, Google Audiences, Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, and others for audience measurement and analytics purposes. These analytics services may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information to help us analyze users and how they use our Site. The information collected by these technologies is used to assess how often you visit our Site, what pages you view when you visit our Site, and what other websites you visited before coming to our Site. - (c) Web Beacons. A Web Beacon is an electronic image. Web Beacons can track certain things from your computer and can report activity back to a web server allowing us to understand some of your behavior. If you choose to receive emails from us, we may use Web Beacons to track your reaction to our emails. We may also use them to track if you click on the links and at what time and date you do so. Some of the third-party marketers we engage with may use Web Beacons to track your interaction with online advertising banners on our Site. This information is only collected in aggregate form and will not be linked to your Personal Data. Please note that any image file on a webpage can act as a Web Beacon.
- (d) Embedded Web Links. Links provided in our emails and, in some cases, on third-party websites may include tracking technology embedded in the link. The tracking is accomplished through a redirection system. The redirection system allows us to understand how the link is being used by email recipients. Some of these links will enable us to identify that you have personally clicked on the link and this maybe attached to the Personal Data that we hold about you. This data is used to improve our service to you and to help us understand the performance of our marketing campaigns.
Of course, if you do not wish to have cookies on your devices, you may turn them off at any time by modifying your internet browser’s or device’s settings. Duration. The length of time Company intends to retain Personal Data, including sensitive Personal Data, if any, is for as long as reasonably necessary to carry out Company’s intended business purpose for such information.
How We Disclose Your Information
We may disclose your Personal Data to a third party for a business purpose, including the following categories of third parties:
- Our Affiliates. We may disclose the information collected through the Site with our affiliates, subsidiaries, and other related entities in order to provide our products, services and effective customer support.
- Third-party Service Providers. We disclose Personal Data collected through the Site with third-party Service Providers who act for or on behalf of the Company. These third parties may need information about you to perform their functions. “Service Providers” may include suppliers, dealers, distributors, companies and consultants that provide website hosting, software development, payment processing, website and data analytics, order fulfillment, information technology and related infrastructure support, customer service, email delivery, and auditing.

- Sale of Business or Merger. There are circumstances where the Company may decide to buy, sell, or reorganize its business. Under these circumstances, it may be necessary to disclose or receive Personal Data with prospective or actual purchasers, acquisition targets, partners or affiliates. In such circumstances, the Company will ensure your information is used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- In Aggregate or De-Identified Form. We may aggregate or otherwise anonymize the data we collect for purposes of analytics, research, marketing and other business interests of the Company. Such use shall not include Personal Data or information that can identify you as an individual or reasonably be used to identify you.
Information of Minors
We do not knowingly collect or use information from individuals under the age of eighteen (18) without parental or guardian consent. We do not target the Site to minors, and would not expect them to be engaging with the Site or our services. We encourage parents and guardians to provide adequate protection measures to prevent minors from providing information unwillingly on the internet. If we are aware of any Personal Data that we have collected about minors, we will take steps to securely remove it from our systems.
Your Rights Under U.S. State Law
California.
- Shine the Light law. Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, we will not disclose or share your Personal Data with third parties for the purposes of third-party marketing to you without your prior consent.
- Do Not Track Signals. Other than as disclosed in this Policy, the Site does not operate any differently when it receives Do Not Track signals from your internet web browser.
Nevada.

Your Consumer Rights.
Some state laws in the United States provide consumers with additional rights with respect to their Personal Data (also known as “personal information”), as those terms are defined under those applicable state laws. - Access. You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Data.
- Correction. You have the right to request that we correct or rectify your Personal Data.
- Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Data. You have the right to request that we limit the use of the sensitive Personal Data to that use which is necessary to perform our services. We do not use your sensitive Personal Data in a manner that requires you to limit its use. Therefore, there is no need for you to limit the use of your sensitive Personal Data.
- Portability. Upon request and when possible, we can provide you with copies of your Personal Data. When such a request cannot be honored, we will advise you accordingly.
- Deletion. You have the right to request that we delete any of your Personal Data, subject to certain exceptions.
- Third-Party Disclosures. The right to request that we provide you with a list of parties to which we disclosed Personal Data. If you live in Minnesota or Oregon, you may have the right to request a list of third parties to which we disclosed Personal Data. If you live in Delaware or Maryland, you may have the right to request a list of the categories of third parties to which we disclosed your Personal Data. This Policy is intended to satisfy your right relating to the categories of third parties.
- Opt-out of the Profiling, Sale, and Sharing of Personal Data. You have the right to request that we do not sell your Personal Data, share your Personal Data for targeted advertising, or use your Personal Data for profiling. There is no need for you to opt out of the sale or sharing (targeted advertising) of your Personal Data to third parties as we do not sell or share (targeted advertising) your Personal Data.
- Non-Discrimination. If a consumer exercises his or her rights under applicable U.S. State Privacy Laws, we shall not discriminate against that data subject by denying our goods or services, charging different prices or rates to similarly situated consumers, providing a different level or quality of our goods or services, or taking any other adverse action.
- Exercising your rights. If you are a consumer that has rights under applicable U.S. State Privacy Laws who chooses to exercise the rights listed above, you can:

- Call us at 1-888-369-3629 to submit your request.
Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request related to your Personal Data. If an authorized agent makes a request on your behalf, we may require proof that you gave the agent permission to submit the request.
Upon receiving your request, we will confirm receipt of your request by sending you an email confirming receipt. To help protect your privacy and maintain security, we may take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to the Personal Data. In some instances, such as a request to delete Personal Data, we may first separately confirm that you would like for us to in fact delete your Personal Data before acting on your request.
We will respond to your request within forty-five (45) days. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. You may have the right to appeal our decision regarding your request. If you would like to appeal our decision, please contact us using the contact information provided above.
In some cases our ability to uphold these rights for you may depend upon our obligations to process Personal Data for security, safety, fraud prevention reasons, compliance with regulatory or legal requirements, or because processing is necessary to deliver the services you have requested. Where this is the case, we will inform you of specific details in response to your request.
Third-Party Websites
This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites or other domains that are maintained or operated by third parties or our affiliates. Our Site may link to third-party websites and services. For example, if you click on an advertisement on the Site, you may be taken to another website that we do not control. These links are not endorsements of these websites, and this Privacy Policy does not extend to them. Because this Privacy Policy is not enforced on these third-party websites, we encourage you to read any posted privacy policy of the third-party website before using the service or website and providing any information.
Safeguarding the Information We Collect
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards in order to protect your Personal Data against accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.
